The following screens are designed for the 2015 version of our website, to support these use cases.

Home page

With a Start a petition button, Search in petitions, and a 3x4 grid with the most active petitions. Below the grid a button to show more petitions (12 more on each click) and to 'all petitions'. The grid can be sorted on active, biggest, new and sign last minute.

All petitions

The same 3x4 grid as the home page, but now sorted on status. All statuses as default, with an option for open to sign, concluded, rejected and sign elsewhere. Below the grid there is a row of numbers to indicate the pagination.

Search result

The same 3x4 grid as the 'all petitions' page, but above it the search query that unites them and the pagination below them. The search query can also be a tag which is clickable on an individual petition page.

Petition desks

A grid with logos from authorities that use our site to receive petitions.

Petition desk/collection petitions

The page with a collection of petitions, for example those for a petition desk. Either the petitions share the same addressee (petition desk) or they are manually curated by some organisation. Above the petitions there is a text (for example a policy) and a logo. The petitions appear as a 3x4 grid.

Start a petition

Petition

The page with one individual, signable petition starts with a picture (the same as in the grid) and a short introductory text next to it. Below the petition on the left side and the form to sign to the right. Below that, petition details and a graph with the quantative development of the petition. A bar with sharing options below that. Underneath that bar a grid with 3x4 signatures. Most important signatures highest. Then a button to load 12 more signatures (on each click 12 more). And a link to go to 'all signatures'.

Petitions not signable have information on why not, where otherwise the box to sign and sharing options are. This information can be a message on why and how the petition is closed and concluded or on which other website the petition is open for signing.

Below any petition there are the three most recent 'updates'. A subject and a few lines each. To read lines more the text can be expanded. To read more, older updates a button 'load more updates'. When there are no updates, nothing appears here.

Updates page

Each update has its own page with sharing options. Below the update are other updates.

Signatures page

All signatures are chronologically on paginated pages with 100 signatures each. On top of each page there is the short introductory text about the petition and a petition to sign the petition. Each signature (if not anonymous) has a name, place of residence, function, a link to itself and a 'notify' button. Above the list of signatures there is a search box to search the signatures. In the margin to the right of this list there is a historical graph, a breakdown in popularity per city, again the introductory text with a link to the petition and a box with sharing options. The last two follow you scroll down the list of signatures.
